From October 12 – 14, the Milton Chamber attended the CCC Annual General Meeting in Calgary. Our policy resolution on artificial intelligence (AI) was adopted by the delegation, with 80% votes in favor.
The policy calls on the federal government to implement a flexible, principles-based legal framework for AI technology in Canada that would promote our global competitiveness, boost business efficiency, and ensure a seamless workforce transition.
The resolution will be the official position of the Canadian Chamber in their advocacy.
